Who is Heidi N Photography?
I am a 20-something year-old woman who enjoys very much to be creative and independent. I enjoy color and light, detail and focus in photography, and enjoy the outdoors. I was married to my husband Chad in May 2007, and were blessed with our first baby (boy!) in May 2011. I love spending time with loved ones, and I'm always trying to learn something new, and be creative. I love a challenge and aim to please. I hate disappointments, waking up early, steamed spinach. I love lazy Sundays, naps, all things cheesy and sweet (oh, I was talking about food!), and thoroughly enjoy a good laugh!

How did you get involved in photography?
I think this all started when I was in Elementary... My mom so kindly bought me just a regular point and shoot camera that takes film, in order to take it with me on a School Camping Trip known as "Mill Hollow". I remember being so inspired by the ability to capture moments and beautiful memories, and then morph them into something so tangible.
I bought my first 8 megapixel digital camera just after I was married (even though they had been around for years) and began again to feel like I did in elementary, morphing special moments into something tangible, creating memories - but this time I was uploading them onto my laptop.
Soon after that I heard about what would soon be my very first DSLR - The Nikon D90. *Insert heavens angels and harps playing sound here*. I begged my husband for a few months, and when he finally agreed, I had a hard time convincing myself that it was worth the cost. Not long after I figured out how to use the thing was I asking if I could take pictures for friends, family, etc... I fell in love with photography all over again <3
My pursuits for the future include upgrading my gear, and my technique. I strive every shoot to get a little bit better.
