FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

When am I supposed to pay you?

I prefer to be paid on the day of the shoot (either before we get shooting, or right after we're done). But if you want to pay me when the photos are finished, that's fine too. All payment must be received prior to the CD being in your hands.

How long will it take to get my photos back?

Once your photoshoot is completed, I will edit the photos within 1-2 weeks (3-5 for most weddings and some bridals) and inform you when they are ready. "Sneak Peaks" are posted on my Facebook Page. They should be ready and deliverable immediately after the editing process is completed (Within 1-2 weeks for regular photo shoots, and 3-6 for things like Weddings and some Bridals)

Do I pick my photos up, or do you deliver them to me?

You can choose either option! As long as you're in the Salt Lake Valley, your delivery fee would be included in your package price. If you're concerned about whether or not you would be charge for the deliver of your CD, simply contact me with your postal/delivery address and we can work something out. Postage to mail any CDs or DVDs, if needed, is not included in the price of the photo shoot.

How many photos will I get?

On average expect close to 100 or more photos to be on your cd. Even MORE if you've booked a wedding (sometimes 500+ photos) or engagement session (sometimes 200+).

How do I get my photos? / What format are they in?

All photos you receive will be fine digital copies in JPG form. They will be provided to you on a CD/DVD which is readable for most updated laptops and computers. If you wish to receive them in a different way, please let me know!

Can I request special edits be done to my photos?

Yes! I love requests, and do my best to accommodate each request. If you can, please let me know what you're hoping to achieve before the photo session begins. Once you receive your CD if you see something else you'd like done to the photos, just let me know and I'll send you the changes. As long as you keep it under about 10 photos - it's at no extra charge.

Can I get more professional edits done??

Additional professional edits may be requested and in most cases are included with your package – extensive edits may require additional charges – please contact me if you have questions regarding this.

What if I don't want my pictures done outside??

I do have studio equipment (basic backdrops and an Umbrella Lighting System that will require an outlet) if an indoor session is needed or requested, and this could be mobilized - meaning I could come to your home, or requested location with an assistant - but this may cost extra. Please see my "Sessions" pages in the Services Tab for more information.

Where are you located?

I am located in Magna, Utah. I travel all over the Salt Lake Valley and surrounding counties in Utah. If you're hoping to get me out of state - contact me! I'd LOVE to come visit!

Do you offer prints?

Yes! Often times my clients prefer to just take their CD to a local Photo Lab (such as WalMart or Costco) to have their prints made.

Can I print my OWN prints?

Most definitely!! Once you have the CD, the rights to your photos are included - so you can get prints and enlargements to your heart's content! I HIGHLY recommend ensuring that the "Auto Correct" feature is turned off when ordering prints (especially from online).

Can I swap something in the package out for something else?

Yes! But it may depend on what it is. Contact me for more information.

Do you offer anything else other than photo prints?

I do offer other items such as Canvas Wraps, Mugs, Calendars, Photobooks, Photo Printed Blankets, stamps, and so on. However, those are not included in your $60 package.

I also offer digital editing for old photos you may have that need correction or adjustments, as well as graphic design (like posters, collages, flyers, Website material, and so on). Contact me for more item-specific questions.

Are you able to take photographs at the Temple?

Certainly! Nearly every Temple will allow photography outdoors on Temple Grounds. Taking any photographs inside is not approved by Temple Officiates. Please contact the Temple you are interested in if you have further questions regarding this matter (contact info can be found on the LDS website).

What if I want to hire you solely for a "2nd Photographer"? (For a wedding or other event)

This is not a problem at all! You may, however, want to check with your Main Photographer and your current contract to see if this will void anything in your agreement with them.
